I finished the boards last Thursday and got my final results today claiming that I PASSED THE NCLEX!!!!!!!! I wanted to thank you for all of your efforts towards this studying program. The ATI program really help me passed the boards and achieve my goal of becoming an RN. I will be recommending this program to any friends and classmates in order to prepare them for the state boards. I will be contacting my academic advisor at the University of Iowa College of Nursing and telling her to recommend this ATI studying program to future graduates. Thanks again and have a great summer.

I PASSED!! I just wanted to say thank you for all your help and encouragement!! Also… I did not want to say anything before because I wanted to keep the mojo good, but compared to ATI testing, my NCLEX was not bad at all. In fact there was one questions in ATI in particular that I remember thinking to myself, you have got to be kidding me, what in the world is this and out of all the possible things that NCLEX could ask me about surely THIS will not be on my test….well I was very wrong! This ATI review class rocks!

I PASSED!!!!!! I am so relieved for it to be over. I want to thank you very very very much for helping me review. I found that a lot of the content on NCLEX was the exact same content on the ATI assessments; I could not believe how much they were similar. I had the minimum questions and it took me 40 minutes. I am telling all my classmates to complete the review and take it serious because it helped me SOOO much!!! I can't thank you enough!!

I can not think of a way to improve on the review course you held. I think you do a GREAT job and wish I would have had you as an instructor the whole time! I passed NCLEX on my first attempt June 16th and will be starting at the hospital in Grand Maris on July 13th.

Am so happy to inform you that I passed my NCLEX-PN! Your review was really helpful. ATI can work miracles. One of the practice questions we had in the review actually came out in the exam. Again thank you. I hope you continue to conduct more review classes...maybe I'll see you in my RN review!

Thought I'd send you an email to let you know that I took the NCLEX on September 30th and passed. Yesterday I received my license number in the mail so I guess that makes it official! :) Wanted to let you know that I used the ATI approach (almost exclusively... crazy, I know, but I became strapped for time due to one of my parents becoming suddenly ill and needing my help) to prepare for the exam and it definitely helped me organize my studying and assess my weak areas. Thanks very much for the great prep class; it was undeniably the best and most efficient three days of exam prep!

Teresa brings an impressive and perse mix of experience to her role as a nurse educator. Teresa joined ATI in July 2008. Before that, she held an educator position with MEDS Publishing – acquired by ATI in 2008 – where she was instrumental in product development, voice-over narratives, virtual tutorial enhancement, and customized curriculum and product integration.
Teresa’s clinical experience began in cardiac critical care, burn injury and trauma. Her work continued in acute care as an active duty commissioned officer in the United States Air Force Nurse Corps in the specialty of labor and delivery, postpartum and newborn nursery, and as a flight nurse for neonatal critical care and a triage field supervisor to active duty personnel.
Following honorable discharge from military service, Teresa was an adult nurse practitioner with a private cardiology practice, director of the Compensation and Pension Program with the Department of Veterans Affairs and consultant to the United States Army Medical Corp in developing out-patient services to remote veterans in a 23-county region.
As a clinician, her work in an inner-city, primary care clinic provided staff, client, and family and community education in health promotion, illness prevention and wellness maintenance. A hepatitis C support group, hypertension and diabetic screening, and smoking-cessation classes were developed and implemented to Bosnian refugee communities.
Teresa also has worked as an educator for ADN (associate degree in nursing) and BSN (bachelor of science in nursing) RN programs. Student comments reflect her creative and energetic style of teaching: “She brings the content to life; it almost jumps off the page;” “Delivers content in a clear and concise manner;” and “Her belief in my success made me believe in me, too.”
Her passion for making a difference by sharing knowledge and experience continues with a scholarship foundation she established that provides monies to adult learners who are practical nurses pursuing registered nurse degrees.
Teresa received both a post-master’s certificate in adult health nurse practitioner and a master’s degree in family health nursing from Syracuse University, and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from California State University, Chico.

If Cherralene were to choose one statement that epitomizes her career, it would be this: “It is not just the love of nursing that fuels a passion for this profession; rather, it is sharing that love of nursing with others that brings the greatest joy.”
Cherry joined ATI in 2009. Before that, she spent nine years as an instructor at Penn State University, while also teaching at Mount Aloysius College in Pennsylvania. For almost 19 years, she has also worked part-time as a Critical Care traveling nurse in several states in a variety of acute care and long-term care facilities, to enhance her skills and remain on the cutting edge of nursing.
In addition, she spent 10 years as a home care primary nurse/case manager and 15 years in emergency and trauma units. Working in the trauma units sparked a tremendous interest in pre-hospital work, and led to licensure as a paramedic.
Cherry received a master’s in nursing education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Penn State and an RN degree from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Altoona, Penn.
What do you like most about teaching ATI Live Reviews? “The best part is knowing that the focus is entirely on helping students’ achieve success, using an interactive format to build confidence and expand those critical-thinking skills needed to pass NCLEX. Though I have taught live reviews for more than 14 years, I am still thrilled to see a student’s expression change from frustration or fear at the beginning of a review to pride and confidence on the last day, as they realize that success on the NCLEX truly is within their grasp – that unmistakable smile of delight when the student realizes they actually know more than they thought! But, more importantly, I am proud to be part of a company that does what is right, and continues to coach a student who may need a little more help on the path to success.”
